It’s Saturday. The sun is out. We are going to buy some nice glasses for my wife, and a number of other tasks. It’s a nice day, which is nice.

I need to get a compact camera because my old one is old and broken, and while I love my SLR, I don’t take it everywhere with me and I’m just not taking pictures like I used to. I used to take pictures EVERYWHERE!!

I think this little fella would do very nicely. I think that’s the one that Dave has, and if Dave has it then it’s gotta be right.

that’s the model above mine - i have the ixus70. it’s good, and slightly smaller (and sexier) than the 75. much of a muchness really

i totally agree about getting a compact camera to have for every day pictures because it really isn’t reasonable to bring a bulky slr with you every where and i am totally not taking pictures like i used to. :i

are there any particular brands and models you had in mind? i’ve always loved the sony cyber shots but only because i’ve only really used those before a lousy kodak.
